En observant les merveilles de la vie environnante, Mei laisse son esprit vagabonder ; vers la nature, vers le pourquoi et le comment de la situation. Saisissant son pinceau, elle condense l’atmosphère environnante dans le détail qu’elle est en train de capturer.
Après avoir obtenu son Bachelor en arts numériques et animation à l’Académie des Arts de Chine, à Hangzhou, Mei a déménagé en Suisse. Depuis, elle se délecte dans le mélange entre son ancrage culturel et sa nouvelle vie, découvrant avec bonheur les différences et les points communs entre son vécu et son expérience présente. Afin d’approfondir ses relations avec les arts chinois, elle est retournée étudier la peinture traditionnelle et la calligraphie à Hangzhou en 2019. Par son art, elle cherche à retranscrire la dualité de son expérience, liant à sa manière son héritage chinois à la Suisse.
While observing the beauty of life around her, Mei allows her mind to wander - in the realm of nature, in the why and how this came to be. Taking up her brush, she pours as much of the scenery as possible into the snapshot that her artwork is.
After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Video Game Design at Hangzhou’s China Academy of Art in 2013, Mei moved to Switzerland. Ever since, she has been revelling in the mix of her cultural background and this new life around her, discovering with delight the differences and common grounds between what she has always known and what she now experiences. In pursuit of a stronger connection to Chinese arts, she studied Chinese traditional painting and calligraphy in a studio in Hangzhou in 2019. She wants her art to reflect the duality of her experience, bringing in her own way her Chinese heritage to Switzerland.
艺术家在观察周围生活的美的同时，更热衷于让她的心灵沉浸在大自然的世界中，这就是冷媚她拿起画笔的缘由，她将尽可能多的风景倾注到艺术品的快照中。
冷媚在2013年获得在杭州的中国美术学院网络游戏美术学士学位后，移居瑞士。从那以后，她一直陶醉于自己的文化背景和她周围的新生活的差异，已现有的经验，她一直在寻找这与她之间的共同点。
为了精进与中国艺术的理解，她于2019年在杭州的考研艺术中心进修中国传统书画，她希望自己的艺术能够反映出她所正在经历的双重性，她想把她对艺术的理解结合中国的传统文化以她自己独特的方式展现和分享给瑞士的朋友。
